My name is Jasmine. I'm a fully grown (but baby-sized) photographer, originally from rural Australia.
I began taking photographs when I was thirteen years old on a point-and-shoot that I was given for my birthday. When I was fifteen (and old enough to have nice things), I began shooting on an old film camera, and still switch between digital and analogue today whenever I feel the need to go old-school.
I studied photography at a Melbourne art college, and on graduating I started my wedding photography business, calling it "Elk Avenue" after the street in Coffs Harbour where I was born.
I photograph people in love all over the world, and have shot weddings throughout Australia, and in England for their 2018 season. I have travelled Europe and the UK over the last six months and have met beautiful brides the globe over. Find my travel stories here.
I aim to shoot couples in a way that allows them to be authentic, capturing your natural moments and the aspects of your relationship that make you individual.
I love shooting in natural light, and tend to put couples in outdoor settings with creamy sunrises or sunsets. If we can find some time during golden hour to shoot during the day, I will be undeniably in my element (and a very happy egg).
Wedding pictures are my favourite thing in the world. They serve as a precious reminder of the first steps in a long and wonderful life together, and it is my one goal to record your day in a way you will cherish and want to relive over and over.
